We are pleased to announce our new 1-1 Networking opportunity for Early Career Professionals. We will be trialing a way of connecting you to other pension professionals, at a similar stage in their career, to allow you to expand your professional networks.
Â
If you would like to be paired with someone from a different firm and in a different role in pensions, please sign up below. We will then introduce you by email and let you take forward as you wish. You can use the service on multiple occasions as you build your professional contacts (just email me to have a new pairing) and do let me know if we accidentally pair you with someone you already have within your network.
Â
Please sign up here, and we will be in contact.
In July we hosted our second Early Career Professionals hybrid event, 'A Leaders Journey'. The event was well received and explored the paths industry leaders have taken in their careers. Those who were able to attend in person could also network with their colleagues and the speakers, over drinks after the event.
 Â
If you missed it, you can watch the recording here. Thank you to all who attended on the day, it was great to have you there – and we hope to see you at future events.
Our last two hybrid events have been well received from attendees and we will be holding our third event shortly. Thank you to everyone who completed our last survey, your feedback informed the approach to our next event. We really appreciate your feedback
Â
In our next Early Career Professional event we intend a high level discussion of the following topics:
 • Inflation and cost of living
 • DB Endgame
 • GMP equalisation, and
 • CDC
Â
We will be in touch with more information shortly, we hope to see you there!
Â
As a reminder, we have seven technical committees: Legislation, DB, DC, Covenant, Investment, Administration and Financial Services Regulation. Should you wish to come along as an observer to a committee, which are mainly held online, just email Carla. More details on committees and their terms of reference can be viewed here.
Â
We continue to produce and circulate summaries
of the minutes of each Committee, focusing on the details that we hope will be most relevant to you and your colleagues. If you do not receive these by email (about every 2 months), please let us know.
Â
All of our events are recorded and can be viewed on our website here.
Â
summarise this media work, our LinkedIn profile also promotes key activity.
Â
As an early career professional, we want to assist you in the best way we can. Do please let us know if there are other offerings that you would like us to consider. Our Early Career Professionals Group steers this activity and they are always keen to explore new ideas.
All the best,
Emily Minion, Digital & Membership Officer
